  I would try 4 and if he finishes it then give him another ounce more

  My daughter was 12 weeks when she started daycare and they had me start with 4 oz.

  My DD is 7 weeks and she takes 3oz but it just depends on the baby. Put in 4oz and see how it goes, I knoe sometim es during the mid day she will only take 2oz.

  DD still only takes 3.5 oz bottles.  Sometimes she'll finish 4 oz, but leaves that half ounce in there most of the time.

  Try 4 and have some extra ready to go just in case!

  My piggy eats 5- 6.5 oz right now! But he's about 12lbs already.
