Our son's nursery so far (PIP)

Here's what we have done in our son's nursery so far:

We have been on a strict budget and (besides the crib which my parents bought for us) we bought everything second-hand and refinished it ourselves. We have spent less than $200 so far on his bedding and furniture!!!

We bought the glider for $35 off Craigslist. It was a PITA because it was a dark espresso color wood and we sanded it down and painted it white. I was able to machine wash all of the cushions and they look as good as new!

My mom is going to paint a couple of huge paintings (I just bought the canvases) to match his bedding:

An old nightstand we had hanging around that I refinished:

Here is a picture of the whole room (not completely finished yet)!

His dresser/changing table - we got this for $60 off Craigslist - it was a tan wood color and we refinished it:

I have a few projects going on for his walls - such as shelves and pictures (of animals) that I need to put up. Then we'll hang up his wall letters:

And we'll be done!!!

Looks awesome! I am very impressed at all of your refinished pieces, they look great. We also did the second-hand route with DD's nursery and it never quite came together like yours - good job!
