Ear Infection without a fever...

 Wondering how common those are.

We've had 3 ear infections but they've always been accompanied by a high fever. I think DS may have one now but he does not have fever.

I am planning to take him in this afternoon to have his ears checked just to be sure.

    Kaitlyn had several with no other indication of actually having an Ear Infection... We only happened to find out b/c we gone to the doctor for totally unrelated reasons.  (one was a check up after her surgery and the doc was like "uh, she has an ear infection... "  me: 'really?  She hasn't had any fever or been cranky at all!" lol )

    Ditto.  DS never runs a fever for an EI.  The only sign is that he usually doesn't eat well.

    Glad we took him in - he has an infection in each ear.
