Hyena cart stocking ?

So why do Hyena cart vendors (specifically bububebe) add pictures to the sites that aren't available yet?  Just to drive up demand?  You'd think if it was just for availability reasons, they'd just stick everything up there when it was done.

    HC is different then Etsy. ?They have the stocking calendar and you can see who does what and when. ?But yea sometimes its a bit far in advance.

    I would say so that it's like advertising in it's self.  You put up everything with a scheduled start date, people can decide what they want before hand, and if everything sells in one or 2 days, you only make one or two trips to the post office.
