Okay - here's the formal 3rd Tri Check-In. I'll do this regularly on Mondays and Thursdays. If you'd like to share the name of your little one(s), respond, and I'll update my sheet. Also, you will be lumped into whatever week you are on Mondays, and not changed for Thursdays...
This is our weekly check-in for SAL ladies in their 3rd trimester! Please check your info, and let me know if anything needs to be changed. If you would like to be added, please reply with your name, due date, what the gender is (if you know) and baby's name, if you'd like to share. Questions of the day follow the grid. Thanks!

Re: **3rd Tri Check-In**
Yay for 3rd tri check in!! I'm so excited for all of us!
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? I have my GD test next week, on the 19th. Scared!!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? As of now we're planning a natural delivery and although I'd like to say I want to try to go med free, I'm not sure I can. I have to think my two natural miscarriages were a bit of prep for a med free birth, but I don't know if I could handle it on such a bigger scale. I guess a lot of women with clotting disorders are more prone to pre-e and GD, so if that ends up the case I might instead find myself with a scheduled c-section. Time will tell I guess!
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? School guidance counselor. If only I'd get my butt in gear and go to grad school!
1. Was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I meet with the dietician to help me. So far my numbers look good.
2. Epidural, I have low tolerance to pain. We are open to C section due to my height and depending on size of DS. PAIN!
3. Teacher, I was one year from finishing my teaching degree and got a hair up my butt. So I changed my major and here I am regretting it.
Our little one has a name Tyler James-- u can add it to the list.
Baby #2 MC June 2008
Baby #3 Born April 2009
Baby #4 due date February 2015
Q1: No major updates here. I had my regular appointment with my MW yesterday and all is fine.
Q2: I will be having a med-free birth. I actually am feeling really confident about labor and delivery but the thing I am most afraid of is that it will end in a c-section. Although I know I will getting a baby no matter what I think I will really disappointed if I am not able to have an natural vaginal delivery.
Q3: I am practically doing my dream job but my super dream job is to open a Native American Women and Children's Center in Seattle. Someday... I just need Bill and Melinda Gates to hook my up with lots and lots of money.
Yeah for 3rd tri!
Q1: No big updates. My next appointment is next Friday the 20th and I will be having the 1 hour GD test and the Rhogam shot on the same day. DH hasn't been to the last few appointments because they were boring but I think I might have him come to this one. I hate getting poked and prodded!
Q2: Definitely an epidural. I am a wimp when it comes to pain and would like them to start the epi as soon as possible. Any woman that can do a med-free birth is my hero!
Q3: I would love to coach gymnastics. I was a competitive gymnast for 9 years (until I graduated high school) and would love to get back involved in some way. I just haven't found an opportunity yet.
Thanks so much for doing this, Lindsey! You rock!
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? No really big news or anything...just enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. Still can't believe I'm in the 3rd tri!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? Pretty much the whole things scares...the unknown, but I'm okay if I don't think about it. That's usually how I handle things. Not enough time to ponder and get worked up about it.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? SAHM right now. That would be perfect!
::pops head in 3rd tri::
Just wanted to say hi to all my fellow May mommies! Congrats on the milestone
I'll be here next week!!!
Q1: As of my last appointment on Thursday, I am 2 cm dilated! I have another appointment on Thursday and I am excited and scared out of my mind at the same time to see if I have made any more progress.
Q2: I am planning on getting an epi. Just about everything scares me about delivery, but he has to come out one way or another, right?
Q3: I would love to do some volunteer work for animal shelters or another cause that is close to my heart like Alzheimers or Diabetes.
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? You can put Olivia as our little girl's name! We have an appointment to look over my GD test results on the 18th (I take the test on Friday)
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? I'm going to probably get an epidural. The scariest part for me is how long labor will last... I'm worried that I'll be too tired to push.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? I'd like to write for a magazine from home.
Baby name: Fiona
Q1: Appts are getting closer together! The next will be only 3 weeks from my last.
Q2: I feel pretty open-eyed on the whole delivery process; I suppose the unknown of exactly how (and how much) it is going to hurt is the only really scary aspect. I am reserving the right to get an epi, but more to take the edge off than to totally block all feeling. If my lack of platelets prevents that I'll be au naturale.
Q3: In total contrast to everything I've felt up until this pg (as evidenced by my massive student loans), I would actually like to be a SAHM. Unfortunately, that will have to wait a few years.
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? I have another u/s on Monday to check baby's kidneys and we will see how big she has gotten from 28 weeks when she was 3 pounds 2 ounces. We had our couples shower this weekend and pretty much got everything we need!!! Our nursery is pretty much done!!!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? I would like to do med free but both my dr's and most people I talk to say get an epidural. I most likely will but we will see. I am really not too scared about the delivery process.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? Working for the New York Yankees or Miami Dolphins!
I love organized people and wish I could join your club! Thanks for doing this Lindsey!
1. No big news, I have my ob appt tomorrow and I think I get to schedule a 35 week u/s to make sure this little one is growing well and is head down.
2. I'll be going natural for as long as I can but I'm very open to an epi. I'm also quite afrraid that this baby is breach, so I'll be having a c-section.
3. My dream job would involve reading chick lit on a beach somewhere warm.
Q1- I have an ultrasound on Thursday. I am still waiting for my results from the GBS test and the 24 hr urine test and hoping no news is good news.
Q2 - Epidural. I am scared to have to need a cs. I really want to go vaginal
Q3- Right now to be a stay at home mom for a while, but that is not going to happen.
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? I will let you know after my ultrasoudns today
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? C section. Im worried about being tied down and not able to move..
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? SAHW/M. I have my dream job
When I was little I used to really want to be a pilot...
Can you update my info (I'm in 37 wks), name-Kacie & it's a surprise!
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? 1cm dilated & 50% effaced for 2 wks now...come on progress!!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? I think I'm going for epi...still undecided.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? To be Ty Pennington (Extreme Home Makeover)--he has the best job to really make a difference in people's lives!
Thanks for taking this over.
Q1: My daughter's name will be Aubrey Evelyn.
Q2: Med-free, just like I did with DS. What scares me most is the same thing for everyone - the very small remote chance that something will go horribly wrong.
Q3: My dream job... hmm, probably a professional chef or a food critic. I love to eat!!
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share?: We put the carseat base in last night and I will be getting it checked hopefully on Thursday or Friday. It is making it so REAL!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process?: We will be trying for a med-free birth. I am most scared of something going wrong and don't want a c-section because then you get seperated from the baby for an hour
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job?: I love my current job, but DREAM JOB - one of those people on the travel shows because I love to travel.
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? Tomorrow is Wednesday and I get to work from home on Wednesdays for the duration of my pregnancy! Woohoo
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process?
I am planning on going med - free but am going to keep the option open for the epi. I am scared that I will be as out of control as I was with my first one. I am so hoping that I will handle it better.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? I want to be a yoga instructor.
Q1: Any news or updates you want to share? Passed my second 1 hr GD test..YEAH!! (yes, they made me do the one hr twice). Next appt. is an u/s at 32 weeks!!
Q2 (pg-related): Will you be getting an epidural, going med-free or c-section for delivery? What scares you the most about the delivery process? I will be open to going med free, but most likely will get an epi. I am scared of tearing.
Q3 (non-pg related): What is your dream job? Something part time, that pays really well and is very mentally rewarding....not sure what yet!
Q2: The hospital where I'll be delivering doesn't offer epidurals, so I'll either be going natural or using other drugs, depending on how bad/long my labor is.
Q3: Not sure
Mom to Annabelle (Aug. '06), Aaron (Apr. '09) and Eleanor (Jan. '12)
Hi everyone! ?
Q1: ?My next appointment is tomorrow. ?I hope there is some progress but I really doubt it. ?
Q2: Not sure how it's all gonna play out. ?I'm sure if I'm induced on the 17th then I'll be getting an epi.
Q3: I have my dream job. ?I'm a music supervisorI put music into film advertising, TV spots, trailers, etc. ? Although if I was 20 years old again and looked like Bar Refaeli, I wouldn't mind being a model... travel, date movie stars... that would be an adventure!?
