My baby was born on Tuesday February 3rd at 10:39pm. He was 21 inches and 7lbs 11oz. We just got home today and we are doing very well.

On Tuesday I had my third gel treatment ( 7 am). I was only 2cm. I went home and went into labor about 4 hours later. We left for the hospital around 3:00 after about 2 hours of contractions 4 minutes apart. When I got to the hospital at 3:45 I was 4.5cm dilated and they admitted me. They broke my water and I went up to 5cm. Shortly later I received an epidural and progressed to 6.5cm and then 9cm in a short amount of time. We started pushing at 8:45ish and he was born at 10:39. I had trouble pushing at first because I could not feel if I was pushing correctly. The epi was backed down and we added some pitocin but I still had some trouble. The doctor ended up using the vacuum to help get him out but it wasnt bad at all (and he doesnt have a cone head). I was all worried that he would-haha. I had a 2nd degree episiotomy. Im not feeling much pain and breastfeeding is going well.

Labor was quite and experience but so worth it. Jude is beautiful. I will put up some pics sometime soon.
