When did you lower the crib level for the 1st time?

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months
DS isn't sitting unassisted yet for more than a 10-20 seconds...but wondering when that happens, how quickly he'll pull himself up. ?He loves to stand now (with assistance of course) and just wondering when I should lower the crib.

    Jayden is so cute!

    We lowered the crib at 8 months.  He's been sitting unassisted since about 6 months, and still isn't pulling himself up.  We just wanted to be prepared just in case.

    When in doubt, lower it.  We lowered ours when they could sit unassisted - they're both learning to pull up so b/f we put the bumpers back in, we'll lower to the lowest.

    She pulled herself up on the crib rail last Monday and I lowered the mattress this past Monday.  She started sitting around 6 months.

    I'm didn't want to lower until DS could sit himself up since I'm short its hard to reach down in the crib to get him. If I lower it before he can sit up I'll need a step stool! LOL

    It looks like I'll have to do it soon though - I figure sometime in the next few weeks!?

    She started sitting at 6.5months, but didn't pull up on anything but my shirt until she was about 8months. We lowered it the day after she pulled up for the first time in her crib.

    This is the first time she pulled up. My mom freaked out when she saw the pic. She was standing pretty high up, plus she put her foot on the bumper.

    right after the first time we walked in to see her standing up...just before 7 mos.  It was SCAREY to see her standing there and thinking it was low enough for her to fall over with just a little bit of effort.  We should've done it sooner!

    If we haven't lowered it before then, when we recarpet in the spring time we'll probably just lower it all the way (her crib has 3 levels).  We have to take her crib apart to move it so I figured while it was apart, we'll get it out of the way.
