I don't mean, puts everything in his/her mouth, I mean literally go on a mission to find minute objects to pick up and eat? And by minute I mean like just one grit (as opposed to multiple grits), or a piece of a grain of rice, or... I dunno, a hardened spec of spaghetti sauce. She has really good "pincer skills" so I thought she was just using them a little more, and of course, everything goes in the mouth. The other day she picked some speck of food up (from God knows when) off of her feeding tray and stuck it in her mouth and happily chewed it up. Ew. These things could be bits of paper, lint, she wants to eat them. But why these little specks? That's just weird!
Re: Does your DC like to eat specks of trash?
LMAO! Thank you! To be fair, she does use them to eat real food--food she steals off of other people's plates when they are not looking (foods she's not suppose to have yet
) I think it's just the thrill of trying to get away with it.
hmmm....good point...
