Overnight Diaper Change - Where?

If you need to change a diaper overnight - either it's poopy or just filled with pee (which I know would not prompt some to change - but my DS is a power pee-er - so diaper can get FULL o' pee) .. where do you change LO? Changing table? Crib? And do you go all out - ointment, butt cream, etc. - or just whip it off and whip another one back on?

I change her on the floor. I sometimes just put on the diaper, but I usually put on her diaper cream because she is just so sensitive to rash.

However, she rarely needs a change during the night anymore, thankfully.

We change all DS's diapers on the changing table and we change his night diapers the same way we change his day diapers.

I change her on my bed. She sleeps in the bassinet next to the bed, so I keep a hand towel on my bed at all times.

on the pnp changing table. before he goes to bed he gets aquafor ointment, and at night we change him once maybe twice--and no ointment, Im too tired then

I try not to have to change her in the middle of the night. I changed all of DD1's diapers every feed but I think that is why our night feedings too so long. She woke up too much (and so did I). Anyway to answer your question, I change her right on the bed in front of me. Once I'm in bed my feet don't touch the ground until DD1 yells for me in the morning. Everything I need is in arms reach.

I go out and nurse on the couch in the middle of the night. so as not to wake DH as baby is still in our room. I just change him on the couch then.

I always used to bring them in bed w/me to nurse & kept a basket next to my bed w/a changing pad, dipes, wipes, etc. I'd just change them before or after nursing if need be by the light of the tv & keep things nice & quiet & NON interactive in the hopes they would stay settled & go back to sleep. Usually worked w/DD#2- no way w/DD#1!!

Change on the changing table, sometimes use cream, depending on how much he's screaming (he HATES having his diaper changed for some reason!).

He's still in a PNP in our room so I change him on our bed. I just started using ointment as a preventative measure but I probably won't use it for middle of the night changes.

On the changing table. Unless she's poopy (which is a rarity in the middle of the night) I just change the diaper, no wipe or anything. I do that first thing in the AM. We CD so it's more important to change her if she's really wet in the middle of the night when she wakes. If she doesn't wake, I don't worry about it.

I change him on my bed. I put everything I need on my nightstand before I get in bed so I very rarely ever have to get out of bed during the night. We co-sleep.

Me too But he so rarely wakes up in the middle of the night thank goodness!

Unless she is dirty, we change her at about 5:30am when she gets up to eat. I do that one on the changing table. If she needs it, we will use diaper cream.?

I use Bum Genius 3.0 cloth diapers overnight which has eliminated the need for nighttime changes. When DS was still in disposables, I'd have to change him at least once because he's a super soaker. This happened on the changing table. I haven't had to deal with a poopy diaper at night since he was 2 months old. When he was really little and we co-slept he was changed on the bed.
