How long do you nurse?

It's so interesting to me to see how LONG some of you have to feed for.

My son drains my breast, and is quite fat and happy after about 10-15 minutes at most.  When I read about you guys who have babies who nurse for 20-40 minutes per side, it makes my nipples ache for you!

    Sometimes he is super hungry and he'll eat for 30-40 minutes total. Usually it takes about 20 minutes or less in total.

    10 minutes?  So jealous - my DD nurses for at least 20 minutes each side.  More like 40 if she's lazy and falls asleep.

    Usually 10-15 minutes and she is quite happy.  Today not so much and my nipples are starting to pay for it!

    We still go 15-20 min per side. I hope she will get faster... I am soooo jealous!

    Yeah, my kid is almost 4 months and he eats for 15 minutes per side.  THat is when I take him off.  If I let him, he would stay on forever!

    My dd nurses for usually about 15-20 minutes. She used to nurse for a lot longer but now she is too busy looking around to latch on for too long.

    depends...during the day it's usually 20 and 20.  Some times it's 35 and 30.  I feel like this is all I do, but she's finally putting on some weight so I'm happy to do so. I try to give her only 15 on each during the night, but it backfires and she wakes up in 1 hour instead of 2 to eat again.

    I was doing 15-20 per side, but now I am trying to let her drain one breast to see if she's full enough to sleep afterward.  So far it's not really working out for me, but we'll see. 

    I feel like all I do is breastfeed.  Luckily she goes 3 hours between feedings, but still.

    My DD still nurses 20-25 minutes per side..she continues to get milk the entire time and if I try to let her go less she's not a happy camper. All babies are different.=0)
