Do your animals act different

We have 2 cats and 2 dogs (crazy I know). ?One of our cats used to absolutely hate me. ?He bit me about once everyday. ?For the last few days he has been laying by me on the couch and rubbing up against me. ?He hasn't bit me either. ?I don't know if he knows I'm PG or not, but I'm liking the reprieve from the daily attacks. ?

    We have 2 dogs, and they, esp. the younger "alpha" one of the two, have liked to sit close to me more often than they used to. And he seems like he gets more excited to see me when I get home from work than he used to.

    Maybe it's my emotions making me perceive it differently, but I think they are just a little bit more attentive these days.

    my dog is annoying the crap out of me!  She thinks because I'm home a lot, that I should be entertaining her.  It's pissing me off.

    Yep.  My dog is normally a "daddy's girl" but she has not left my side when I'm home since 2 days before I got my BFP.

    Our dogs have been acting more protective of me and the older one is obscessed with sniffing me.

    I thought I was making it up until DH noticed it too.?

    Yes!  When I was POAS the other day, the dog came into the bathroom with me, sat down, and refused to leave my side, no matter what I did.  I kept trying to get him away from me, but there was just no kicking him out :-)

    This is EXACTLY what's going on with my dog. She walks by my side everywhere I go, and now barks when people come to the doors... even DH after work!!! She constantly is sniffing and licking me, and is sleeping on the floor by my side of the bed, instead of on her mattress at the foot of our bed. During the night, as we are sleeping she gets up and goes downstairs... walks around barking (to scare the bad guys away?) and then returns to bed. Sleeps a bit. Then starts the process over again. Very sweet, but odd...
