I don't mean to be a beeotch, but I took a quick looksee at your blog, since you put it out there, I just thought I'd mention by what you have in your blog you are not in any way ready to have a child.
1. You don't have health insurance
2. You aren't taking PNVs
3. You are living so paycheck to paycheck that a high electric bill makes it difficult to afford a HPT.
Please, figure that stuff out before you start even thinking about conceiving a child. Not only do you not have the resources together at this point, you obs. don't even have the maturity to realize how far off you are from being able to adequately nurture and provide for a child. I hate to use this line, but I really don't want my tax dollars paying for your kid just because your DH built a crib.
Re: **Mandie87**- you are NOT ready to have a child
OMG, serious?
Get health insurance before you start stressing the f*ck out about crib designs.?
::picks up jaw floor:::
and a
for good measure.
I agree with 1 (omg, really? My miscarriage/D&C cost us close to $400 WITH health insurance. God forbid that happens to her, but...), and 3.
2... meh.

I'm not saying no pre-pg PNV= bad parent, what I am saying is walking to CVS and grabbing some PNVs probbbbaably should be a few steps ahead of building a crib.

She shouldn't put it in a public blog that she puts in her siggy if she doesn't want it to become our business.?
Is devilishly handsome a commonly used phrase? I've only seen it once before...
Just saying...
Well I still hope she gets her shiit together before she gets KU. Especially the health insurance.

me too, love. ?me too.?
Steps to getting KTFU:
1) Have health insurance
2) Take PNVs
3) Have sex
4) Get a BFP
5) Wait a couple months
6) Buy a crib.
Just sayin.'
An impoverished child is everyone's business.

well i appreciate your concern...for your tax dollars and my unborn child. i know i am not ready to have a child right this minute. but i want to be prepared when i am.
1) no i don't have insurance right now. that's why we are not TTCing.
2)I'm not taking prenatal vitamins because i know that i need to see a doctor first to see if i need a different kind because i'm taking other medication.
3) i am not living paycheck to paycheck. while i dont make much money, my husband makes enough for both of us. and a 500 electricity bill is enough to empty anyones pockets (at least the ones who aren't ridiculously loaded) and the money that we do have left over i would rather go to things other than that at this exact moment because chances are that i'm not pregnant.
i'm not planning on having a baby right now but i like to think about babies and i'd like to be prepared when the time comes so i don't have to worry of the little things that i can just look up right now.
my car did get repo'ed. thats because a scum-bag of a car salesman changed my monthly income to twice it's actual rate and took us for all we were worth. *** happens and it's over now. it's not even on my credit any more because we settled it in court.
yes my husband and i talk about things that involve a baby that doesn't exist yet, but we did the same thing about when we got married. which we did at the right time because we could afford it on our own.
thanks for my individual post though. and to all of you that decided to post before i even read this.
After all this, I think you're even more of an idiot.
Okay, okay. Let me make what I meant more clear. Of course, I think she should have health insurance, solid income, PNV's before ttc. But I also think she should be here to defend herself too.
*edit: and now she is, so you may continue
ahhh, nothing like a victim.
How the hell did you not know that, "Oh, making $4 a month I probably cannot afford a car ______" (fill in the blank with "above 15K" or "Mercedes/Range Rover/Lexus")?
numbered lists are hard
So 2 people living off of military salaries are "ridiculously loaded"? Awesome. I'm gonna go buy a yacht.
You signed the contract. If you couldn't afford it, you should have walked away. Just sayin'. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the max you can afford per month.
Le Sigh.
A $500 unexpected expense that end up emptying your pockets is a HUGE problem. That is the definition of living paycheck to paycheck. You do not have a cushion.
It would not empty our pockets, or even close... and we are not ridiculously loaded. This is because we have savings to cushion the variations in life.

people get screwed over all the time. yes i should have looked over it more, but it was my first car. yeah it was dumb. oh well.
ugh, I'm not going to make any friends defending this, but it happened to us as well.
We spent a full DAY negotiating the price of a car for my dh. 2 weeks later the dealership came back and said they needed another $500 down or else the deal wouldn't go through. They _fucked up the financing. It was either cough up the $500, give back the car (and face more $$$ based on the contract we signed), or have it repo'd. We didn't really have the money at the time, but we scraped up the cash.
It does happen. Dealerships can mess with the contract price after you drive away the car if it's in the contract.
It's this awful disease that makes you incapable of making good decisions.
thats completely true. this adds to why we aren't TTCing.
i just don't get why yall like to pick on people? just curious.
