I'm a PA in dermatology...we prescribe low potency steroids for pregnant women...I just used some the other day on mosquito bites, it's safe. OTC hydrocortisone is fine. Don't use Neosporin...it's an antibiotic so it won't relieve a rash at all, plus about 80% of the population is allergic to Neomycin which is the main ingredient...for any OTC antibiotic creams, Polysporin is the best (b/c it doesn't have neomycin)!!

Re: What can I use for a skin rash?
Regular lotion doesn't keep it from itching?
