I searched before asking this but was unable to locate any discussions. At my 27 week appt last night my doctor said that in two weeks we will decide if I want to schedule a c-section or try for a vaginal delivery. Baby A is head down and Baby B is breech. Her concern is that if I am able to successfully delivery Baby A but then there is trouble with Baby B I might need to have a c-section.
I don't want to have both!! What are some of your experiences and were you faced with this same question?
I am 35 yrs old with fraternal twin boys and besides being completely uncomfortable and sleep deprived I have not had any major issues so far.
Thanks for any help!
Re: c-section vs. vaginal delivery
I was in the same boat as you and I decided to go ahead with the c-section because I did not want to do both. My ob couldn't guarantee not doing both so I opted for the c-section. I had a great experience with mine and would def. make the same decision again. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the responses - it helps to know that others were/are in the same boat.
I was surprised too when she asked for a decision this early but a large part of that is scheduling - I am at a very busy hospital. So in reality, I could schedule the c-section and then see what happens with the babies flipping and/or I could go into labor on my own.
So even though she is asking for a decision there is still some flexibilty. In all honesty, I am scared to death of either option.
My dr was all for having a vaginal delivery so I tried it.I was induced at 36w5d. Baby A was head down, B was breech. B turned head down after A was delivered. My birth story is in my bio. Honestly I was scared of both options too but my delivery was soooo easy. The most pain I felt the whole day was a 5 on a scale of 1-10. I felt back to normal one week later. It was really not bad at all.
