Breast Lump..little freaked

At my 9 wk appt. they did a breast exam and all was fine, nothing was there. The past few days one of my breasts has a a painful spot like a bruise. I thought it was from them being swollen and tender and that part being squished by bra. I just touched the spot and it hurt like a bruise and it felt a little lumpy. Has anyone had this during pregnancy? I was trying to google breast cysts and pregnancy but couldnt find anything to answer my question. I have my 13 wk appointment on Monday, but til then I am a little freaked.

    Could be a swollen milk gland, had one when I was in second tri. Massaging it in the shower under warm water helped. It went away after several days

    try not to freak out.  i would imagine it is totally normal, our breasts go through a lot in preperation and worrying won't help you.  monitor it and maybe take notes to relay to your doctor on monday.  best wishes, stay positive.

    Oh dear, I think I would ask at my next dr's appointment.  I have fibrous breast tissue anyways so I have to stay calm when I do my self exams because usually the things I feel are really nothing at all.

    As crazy as this sounds, breasts are my area of expertise.  I am training to be a breast surgeon.  The great great likelihood is that this is nothing.  Either a bruise or a cyst or a clogged milk duct - but please mention it to your doc the next time you see him/her.  Especially if it doesn't go away.  You'll feel much better knowing what's going on after you get someone who sees this stuff all the time check it out.  Keep us updated!
