Thanks, y'all! It looks like the bulk of tomorrow will be w/ the surgeon. The goal is to have the mass removed w/ the least amount of long term (read "life long") changes to DH's quality of life. We are going into it w/ the feeling that, due to it's location, the surgeon will tell us the same thing that the surgeon here in Austin told us (which, I'll be honest, was really hard to hear). BUT, at least we will know. We won't look at each other 5 years from now and wonder if we had seen a different surgeon if things would have been different.

Like I have said in previous posts, the main thing is to keep DH alive and cancer free. Everything else is just icing on the cake!

Good luck! I went to MD Anderson a few years back (completely different type fo cancer) and I just think the world of that place. The staff will go out of their way to help you with anything you may need. I hope all goes well!
