Vent - I had my pants off for an hour!

Ok, so I had to go see someone who is not my usual Dr. b/c I had thought an infection and my usual Dr. was on vacation. She was running super behind (emergency C-section) which is fine. but they made me take my pants off and sit in the exam room to wait for an hour! It was ridiculous.

If the Dr. wasn't even in building and there were ppl in front of me don't you think I could have sat and read a magazine in the waiting room with my pants on??? Just not feeling great and wanted to vent. grrr I have a feeling this is just the begning of the waiting game.

What is your longest/worst Dr. visit experience?

I waited 3 hours for an IUI.

Dh was really pissed because they defrosted the sample and let it sit around for over 2 hours. I wonder why that cycle didn't work.

Haha - sorry for the disappointment about a nonsexual post - I wish that was the reason I had my pants off! Unfortunately not the case.

I promise next time I post that subject line it will be more exciting Wink

BLEH. I was only waiting for 20 mins at my last appt. and all I could do was look at my incredibly pale legs (lets face it, the lights in those rooms don't help any either) and my knee high socks to cover up my half-shaven-ness they were.

Agreed. If the doc isn't ready, let me sit in my clothes comfortably.

and the "thought I had and infection" part means that you don't have an infection, right?!

Yikes!

My worst experience was a couple of years ago, when I cut my finger really badly. I actually drove myself to the nearest emergency clinic with blood dripping all down my arm. When I arrived, they got me in a room right away and then left me there for well over an hour. I still had my makeshift paper towel wrap around my finger when they came in the room. They proceeded to tell me that it was now too late for stitches. She suggested that I should have been there at least a half an hour earlier if they were going to stitch it up. I was there...waiting in the stupid room! It was such a waste of time.

I won't have any exciting sexual posts for a bit, so you will have to wait to hold me to it! To top of this exciting visit they found not 1, but 2 infections! My body is apparently in total overdrive. And, since I can't have pill form to treat them and she wants to do one at a time, it will be 14 days of creams! Ugh.
