Who else hasn't even SEEN a doctor yet??

my goodness . . . i feel like the neglected stepchild (not a beautiful stepchild like cinderella though). i won't see my doc until 9 weeks and then not again until 13 weeks, which is when they will listen for the hb. i guess because it's been the same way with my other 2, i never gave it any thought. it's so amazing how many ppl have had multiple u/s at this point (and not because there were problems or ivf - just because) and my doc hasn't even seen me. i'm looking forward to it!! also, i won't even have an u/s until around 20 weeks as long as everything is ok.

I don't have my first appointment until 2/9. I don't really know what they are going to do at the appointment, but I doubt they will do an ultrasound. I am supposed to meet with a nurse for 1/2 an hour and then the doctor after that.

Same for me. They think I will be 8 weeks by my appt on Feb 11, but I will only be 6. I tried to tell them I ovulated late, but they wouldn't listen.

The problem here is that you have no Fairy God Mother......this is why you aren't Cinderella). I haven't seen my actual doctor yet....even though I did have an u/s that was because I was spotting and then I just saw a nurse and the u/s tech. I don't get to see the dr until 12 weeks. And I normally I wouldnt have gotten an u/s until the "big" u/s. So you need to go on Craigslist.com and find a Fairy God Mother....but I don't think she can help you with the doctor thing.

I'm not having my first appt. until I am about 10 weeks! It is killing me...with my first I saw the dr. at 8 weeks...but that dr. closed her practice and my new dr. doesn't see you until 10 weeks...it seems like such a LONG time!!! I can't wait to know that everything is on track!

I will not see my doc until Feb 10th. I don't think I will have u/s at that appt.

If it makes you feel better my first offical appointment isn't until tomorrow, when I will be 10 weeks. I had to go to the ER to get an IV though and they did an ultrasound. I did a follow-up with my doctor where I was only in the room for all of 10 minutes, they asked how I was feeling, any cramping still? Spotting? When I said no, they let me go.

ME! I saw my doctor's nurse on Monday... boring..... I go next Thursday to actually see my doctor. I will be 12 weeks then!

With my other 2 (different dr.) I had ultrasounds at 8 weeks, so waiting till 12 weeks to even hear the heartbeat is killing me!

I'm going on Feb 19th, I'll be exactly 7 weeks then. Obviously I'm a little early to be seen...those early BFP's are a joy and a curse!

I don't see my midwife until March 5th. I have an orientation appointment on February 12th but no official appointment until March 5th. I'll be almost 10 weeks.

I have seen the NP for my 1st appointment. I had a dating U/S since my cycles were a little goofy. I see an actual dr on tuesday.

i knew before i ever missed a period, but . . . they still won't see me until i'm between 8-10 weeks. oh well . . .something to look forward to. i can't wait.

I don't get a checkup until 10 wks. I did get to see a nurse, but that was just for an interview so they could get info about me in their system. However I also get an ultrasound at 10 wks which I wasn't expecting, so that will be quite the week.

I go FINALLY next Friday 2/6. I'll be 9 weeks. I did hear from another mother who goes to my doctor that they'll probably do the heartbeat and an ultrasound so I can't wait!

My first one isn't until Feb 20. I will be close to 9 weeks. My doctor doesn't see you until you are 8-10 weeks.

I have an interview with my new ob's nurse on Monday (9w2d), but I'm expecting that will turn into an u/s, too, given my history of loss, no AF post-D&C for this pregnancy, and the constant spotting....but, if not, I won't see the ob until I'm between 13-14 weeks.
