DH has a cousin who's husband is in the Air Force. He's a higher ranking pilot guy who's never been to Iraq or Afghanistan -- until now. I guess he was doing a routine two-week tour in the Middle East, but instead of going home as expected he was sent to Afghanistan. The cousin has two little ones, and I want to send her a note letting her know we're thinking of her ... I'm just not sure what the right thing to say is. They don't live nearby. Your thoughts?

Re: NBR: Military nesties
My DH did 15 months in Baghdad... it was only going to be 12 and got extend back during the intial ext. in '07 "the surge" if you will.
A card would totally be appreciated... just let her and the kids know that you are thinking of them and that you will keep their daddy in your thoughts (prayers). It means the world to know people care.
