recessed penis?

Does/did anyone's DS have a recessed penis?  DS's started recessing into his skin around the 2 month mark, and this happened for like a week and then it was back to normal again.  Well, about a month ago it started happening again and it's like that with almost every diaper change now.  It comes right back out if I push on the skin around it, and it doesn't look like it's readhering at all (he's circ'd)...but this doesn't seem normal to me.  I did ask the pedi about it at his 2 month appt and she said it would probably stop doing that when he got older and thinned out.  Does anyone have any experience with this happening?

    DS's hides a lot. Pedi told us to push it back twice a day, probably until he's 18 months and the little "fat pad" around it thins out.

    My DS's penis has done this pretty much since about the 1-2 month mark.  He has a huge fat pad like pp said.  It just sucks his little ween in.  Just be sure you push it back and clean around it so it doesn't adhere.

    Ds had an adhesion and the pedi had to pull the skin back. Ds's penis looked exactly like you are describing. Just keep pulling back the skin and cleaning it during diaper changes, it will eventually stop doing that.

    Is he chubby? DS has a fat layer which hides his penis pretty well :) J is almost 27lbs at 9 months old.

    Ethan had the same thing around this age... I don't remember when he got back to normal, but he was a big baby too, 26lbs at 9 months, 30 lbs at 15 months....  and then got much thinner, he was 35lbs at 2.5 years old.

    When E was circ'd the Mohel told us it is common if there is a lot of fatty tissue. He told us to press the skin back at every diaper change for about 10 seconds. It has worked.
