I see lots of PNP pics on here, and I'm just curious to see how many people use them. I used mine when DS was a newborn and we kept him in our room. But we haven't used it since 2 months. He just plays on the floor. Anyone else?
Once DS became mobile, we created "the cage" with a Superyard XT so that he could crawl around and play without having to worry about him getting into certain things, but we have never used the pnp for that. It's just too small IMO.
i DO put DD in the pnp for playtime. We have hardwood floor and DD is still a little wobbly while sitting so the pnp is the best solution for us. i plan on continue using especially when i have to leave the room and she is mobile.
Nope, never. My house is baby proofed so my kids have free reign of the first floor with the exception of the kitchen.

Never. We only use ours for sleep when traveling. We baby gated our entire living room and super baby proofed that area so he's safe to play in there while I do other things in the kitchen or laundry room. We also have a superyard xt that we use some in other areas of the house.

I never used our PNP, ever. I finally set it up a few weeks ago thinking it might be a good option to have once he gets really mobile and it got recalled by Fisher Price!
interesting. I have a super yard and don't use it. I think I might start, though. DS is constantly chasing our TV wires, and there really is no way to use those safety things on them.
Never have. We didn't even have a PNP until he was about 7 months old. We got it when we went to visit DH while he was out of town for DS to sleep in. Now we just have it for that purpose and have only used it once since.
I have it downstairs as my "safe" place to put him if I need to run upstairs real quick or answer the door or get lunch etc. Right now he loves it because he walks from one side to the other or bounces off the sides. He's never it in for very long but I like having a place to put him if I have to deal with something without chasing him.

Mine plays on the floor in the living room - I have a baby gate up now that he's crawling. He's apparently on a crib strike and has been sleeping in his PNP for a couple of weeks now. Whatever works, right?
We don't have a PNP. Baby always plays on the floor, but sometimes I put him it the excersauser in our kitchen. We have a co-sleeper that turns into a PNP. I'm sure we will be using that as he gets older and I need to keep him in one place during a shower, etc.
Re: Anyone not put DC in pnp for playtime?
never.
I dont want to associate it with playing because at grandma's house or when we go anywhere overnight its for sleeping not playing.

she pretty much hates hers. it's one of the mini ones so she can barely turn around in it so i don't blame her.
We rarely use ours, it's all packed up in the cloest.
