I just purchased a coat for DS but read the sizing chart wrong. After I submitted my payment I realized it.
DS is in 12 month carter's clothes and 6-12 mo ON clothes. I got him the 12 mo coat from CP but I think I should have gotten him the 18 mo one.
Re: How do CP clothes run?
I have received some CP clothes second hand and they were all big. DD wears 18-24mo in ON, 18mo in Carter's and everything else. I have a few 18mo things from CP for her but they are HUGE! But, they aren't new, maybe sizing changed? DD isn't quite heavy enough for 18mo, but she is definitely long enough, maybe that has something to do with it?
I think it depends on how your DS is built. My DS is long and skinny, and CP cloths are HUGE on him. He's wearing mostly 12 months stuff in ON and Carters (6-12 in pants, some 9 months in onesies) and his 12 month shirts and sweaters from CP are so big on him. They will last him all winter long, if not longer.
In fact, his Easter outfit was 3-6 months (he was 4 months in march) and he could still wear that same shirt two months ago at 10 months.
I also think their sizing varies based on what type of object it is.
