I am afraid that I am getting bitter

I had the best time with my family today. I thoroughly enjoyed watching DD play with her cousins and was a little sad that I'm not pregnant yet.

Fast forward to the inlaws. Four more cousins of DH all announced that they are pregnant. They planned it. I almost peed my pants. None of them are married (not that that really matters), have jobs and their boyfriends/fiances don't either. Then I get the comments, when you are going to have another baby. I replied, well, when DH quits his job in a couple of months and we have to go on welfare then I'll get pregnant.

Life isn't fair. Sorry for my rant.

OMG, what a get-together. The bright spot....it's all over. Now they can all struggle together with their newborns and little means of support. I don't blame you for being bitter, though.

Ugh!  I can see why that would bother you.  I know that I would love a little baby too but it is not in the cards for me.  It stinks!  Hope you feel better soon. Btw, your dd is beautiful.

Hahaha...you must have made parenting look too easy.  Take that as a compliment.

I'm sorry, I know it's so hard when you can't get pregnant right when you want to, and then to be reminded of it makes it even more difficult.  And wow, you must have a HUGE family that FOUR cousins announce pregnancies on the same day??  To even have them all be pregnant at the same time?  Our family is microscopically small though, I only have one cousin (she and I did have both our first and second babies at the same time though!).
