Ding Dong Cake Recipe

Sorry I am just posting this. I hope you enjoy it if you try it!

Make a devil's food cake by the box idrections and cook in two 8" cake pans. Let the cakes cool completely.

Mix together 3 oz. softened cream cheese, 8 oz. cool whip, and 2 cups of confectioners sugar. Spread between cooled cake layers. **Don't use extra ingredients, lite, or fat free!*** (I have seen what happens with the lite and it is not pretty...still tastes good but doesn't "set" right)

Heat a can of chocolate frosting in the microwave for 35 seconds then pour over cake. Spread over the sides as it runs down.

Refrigerate overnight before cutting.

Considering I've made 2 pies, a cheesecake & a cake today - and my mom made 2 pecan pies & a chocolate pie - I'm going to save this one for Christmas!
