And would you spell it like that? (Benett, Bennet, ETC)

 My DH wants to name the baby Bruce after his father, and I am desperate to find a "B" name alternative. (Bruce is totally NMS)

I really like Bennett. I would use both Ts, because otherwise, I would pronounce it with a French flair, like ben-ay.

I like it. We have some friends that named their son Benson... Someone the other day mentioned Brooks, which would fit the 'B' criteria: I love it, but have a BIL named Brook, so it's out for us! =(?

I love Benjamin also, but it (oddly enough) rhymes with our last name!!  I would rather have joy and flair than...that.

I really like Bennett.  And if you like the name Benjamin, it still gives you the option of calling him Ben.

LOVE it!  I dated a Bennett once and he was absolutely beautiful.  I would like the name anyway though! ;-) 

And PLEASE say "NO" to Bruce.

Love it, I have a nephew named Bennett who goes by Ben.  Its a different twist on "Benjamin".
