Anyone else a little sad tonight?

Usually I`m out on Thanksgiving Eve having a great time with my old friends from high school. ?But this year, obviously, I`m not out drinking. ?As much as I`m happy to be healthy and pregnant, I do feel a little sad that I`m missing out on the best party night of the year! ?In honor of Thanksgiving Eve, I`m having a glass of wine tonight!

I am sad that I won't get to hang out with all my friends... but I certainly won't miss the crowds! I will be baking and cleaning tonight... yay!

I'd be saving it too, but we are having Thanksgiving with my family. ?Thank goodness.

I'm a little sad that tomorrow I'll be home alone (well with pets) since DH has to work and we aren't celebrating until Saturday in Baltimore...

Why don't you go anyway? Just drink something that resembles alcohol and you could fit right in.

We usually go out too and I still would, but we have our 10 year class reunion on Friday night so all my friends and DH's friends are getting together then anyway. Tonight we're home, DH is watching the celtics, and I'm watching Bones while baking and cleaning for tomorrow.

I would go, but I just feel a little strange going to a bar and?visibly?looking pregnant. ?I`m sure i`d be the topic of hometown gossip if I did. ?If it was just a friends party, I`d be all about it...but I don't really feel comfortable hanging out late night at bars anymore.

I am a lil sad... DH and I were talking about where we would be tnight if I wasn't pg.  But I'm happy to not be tired and/or hungover tomorrow so I can enjoy every bit of t-day dinner! Not to mention it's worth it to have this little person growing inside...

I'm gonna have a glass of wine tom...I bought some sparkling cider but after spending all day baking I'm ready for the real thing!    Plus it might be the only thing that saves me from my crazy family!

I am a little sad!! More about my friends not even thinking to ask me if I wanted to go then anything!! I felt a little uncomfortable about looking visibly pregnant in a bar especially when everyone is usually out to get drunk.  However, I am happy not to be hungover for turkey day as well as very happy that we are blessed to be pregnant!!
