I am! 4 guys from DH's ship are coming over to have dinner with us. DH always says he remembers what it was like to be by himself on holidays, and also how much he appreciated it when someone invited him over, so we try to have a couple guys over when we are home for the holiday. I've already started cooking.
we are hosting. my family will be heading over to our house. my dh's family all live out of town so its just my family. we plan on having about 20 people over, kids included!
It will just be our family-dh, ds, dd & me but I'm cooking it like it is going to be everyone. 18 lbs turkey with all the trimmings gotta have lots of leftovers for white bread turkey sandwiches. All of our family is out of state & my friends all are going to their families this year.
my mom and dad are already here, and my aunt and grandma are coming over. It will be pretty low key, though. DH is smoking the turkey, my mom is making some sides, my aunt is BRINGING some sides from Boston Market. ;P Like I said, low key.
