I just received an e-mail with a $25 gift card b/c of all the trouble last week with the Britax car seats and the snow blower, anyone else? I think thats great!

I believe in human error. There is no reason people should be pissy about a mistake like this. Some people were ordering 6+ carseats. People were not being taken advantage of, people were not harmed, nobody lost any money. I also doubt Target lost very many shoppers out of this.
I think people over reacted and it is sad that people want something for nothing. Not saying if you got a GC you wanted something for nothing.. but sad that it was taken this far.
I believe in great customer service. Yeah they were a little late on the apologies.. but I don't know if you are on any other message boards but the magnitude of the ordering that went on was insane. No wonder it took them so long. I don't believe in handing out money...gc..free _shit... for every thing that goes wrong.
Their policies cover mistakes like the one that happened.
Even if people don't care about the fine print, it exists for a
reason. I hate the feeling of ripping people off. Maybe it
is because I am in an industry that depends on sales and I hate when
people nickle and dime you. The bottom line is, Target was
already covered, but because people got gluttinous and sue-happy,
Target is shelling out this $ in tough times for all retail businesses.
