who gets so excited about holidays.... i am seriously so giddy right now to see my family...yeah!

I am also telling them it's a boy today.

I am putting this on the fridge at my mom's....she has posted everything important on the fridge our whole lives, and then just wait for everyone to notice. what do you think?? lame??? seriously, I can take it...I am just out of ideas and not really good with the verbal announcements...usually i just end up crying.

I don't see how that's dorky, honestly. Just make sure that it is about eye level. I also think it's sweet, because you're mom will probably be the first one to notice it and it will give her a really good grandmother moment.

I LOVE the holidays!! I can't to bust out my Xmas music! I talked my hubby into letting me buy a PINK TREE this year as well as a real one since we're having a girl!! I'm impressed you're able to keep the gender a secret from your family. I just started screaming from the mountain tops when I found out it was a girl! I couldn't contain myself.

Still can't see it but I think it is a cute idea...once the first person sees it they will be announcing it to everyone else anyway and you will be surrounded by so much love

I'm a little while away from finding out the sex of our baby, but I am already looking into "cute" or in hubby's term "gay" ways to inform family and friends of what the baby will be. I think your idea is adorable.  It will definately work.   woulda probably showed up in a shirt that read "It's a boy". Not extremely originial, but as I said, I have time.
