That's a jackass move, right there. It's the timing. If my husband mentioned this before the weight gain, pregnancy hormones and general feeling of unattractiveness, fine - but now - he could bite me.

Normally, It wouldn't bother me that much. It is just the timing of the whole thing. I mean come on...could you be more thick?? Annd the only reason I found out about it was I saw the charge on our credit card. Now I just have to wait for the mag!

I'd definitely tell him how it makes you feel (assumiing you haven't done so already). He needs to know, at least that way if he does something like it again he won't have an excuse of "I didn't know it bothered you, blah blah blah"

My DH has had a subscription for a long time.....long before we met. I guess it doesn't bother me since it doesn't get any worse than Cosmo. Yeah there are naked women in there but I have come to terms long ago that my big butt would never look like that anyway. He married me knowing that too so too bad so sad if that is what he really wants!

I agree the timing of your DH is pathetic. But don't sweat it too much.....as long he still wants to "play" with you then no worries. AND always keep in mind....men really don't have a clue sometimes. My DH tries to say something sweet and it comes out so bad I can only laugh. I guess it can be hard for them to not be dorks!
