DS is addicted to DVD's - mostly just CHANGING them!

we have a little portable DVD player for DS... up until a couple weeks ago he rarely used it (rarely watched TV... mostly for special occasions).

Then he was sick for a weekend- and i let him watch as much as he wanted b/c he was so lethargic and miserable - BAD IDEA!

now, all he wants to do is watch DVD's - but only like 5 minutes of them- then he wants to change the DVD.

He's not even 2 yet and he can do everything except get the DVD perfectly on the center knob in the player- other than that- he can close it and knows when to hit the correct buttons to get the show started- for each DVD (they all have different meuns).... he's better at electronics than my mom!!!

The second he walks in the house from daycare he starts saying "Boo Coo! MELMO!"... (blues clues and elmo of course).

Anyone else have a kid like this? Will he grow out of this phase??? It's getting old fast!

DS knows how to open/close the CD player and take the cd's out. He puts them back, but not straight... I hope this ends sometime soon!!!

Mine is like that too! We are trying to limit is some what and he has ruined a couple of them since he really wants to do it. I wish I had got that dvd player made just for kids since it is more sturdy!
