NMR-Scrapblog Question

So, I just spent about an hour designing the cutest Christmas card on scrapblog using our professional pics. ?However, I was so disappointed when I realized (after I was ALL done, of course!) that you can't print directly to your own printer from scrapblog! ?You can pay about $1.50 per card to have cards made (that fold, like a greeting card), or you can pay a little less for postcards, but I don't want folded cards or postcards...just for it to look like a photocard! ?I was planning on putting them in the same envelope as our birth announcements.

Has anyone found a way around this?

?TIA!?

Re: NMR-Scrapblog Question

  • I did with my scrapblog.  I wanted to print a copy just to be able to look at it.  I published it and then exported it as a .jpg.  Then I could print the book as pictures.  I don't know if that would work with cards, but it'd be worth a try.

    Good luck!

  • If you want it to look like a photocard, you can export it as a jpeg to your computer and then upload it to photobuck, shutterfly, snapfish, kodak etc. and print them out as photos.  I think the 2 sizes you can do are 4x6 and 5x7.  It's pretty inexpensive for a 4x6 (about $0.10 each) or just upload to cvs or walgreens photos online and print them there so you can pick them up.
  • that is what i am doing - uploading as a JPG and then printing out photos at walmart- then mounting the photos to card stock... cheaper than paying for photo cards to be made- and i like the look better- and can easily write a note on the back if i want to.
  • how do i get it to export? i am not seeing that when i click on the picture :/ oh i hate being computer slow....

  • Go to File and then "Export as a .JPG".  It should be under there.  You have to "publish" it first.
