2nd Trimester

DH asked me if I wanted a Dyson for x-mas

Our vacuum cleaner, a good 6 years old, a bagless Hoover, doesn't suck the way it used to

(pause, while I stop giggling over that last sentence)

So tonight, DH asks, "how do you feel about getting a new vacuum?"

I said "we need one"

and he says, "those Dysons are cool looking ..."

I think he has NO IDEA that they cost $400!

Should I enlighten him, or let him get the idea in his head good and proper before going out vacuum cleaner shopping with him?

Re: DH asked me if I wanted a Dyson for x-mas

  • Soo worth the $$$$$$
  • Loading the player...
  • I think it would be funnier if he didn't know first
  • I say let it be a surprise :)

?But a vacuum for Christmas? Come on now ;)?

  • Their expensive, but totally worth it.  So if there's a snowball's chance in hell that he'll buy it, let him run with it!  No use in messing with a potentially GREAT thing!

I'm old. Things like this make GREAT gifts for me. lol

  • Hehe :)

I totally love your son's name! Do you have any ideas for the baby on the way??

  • The sad thing is, my DH is the one that is all about them and he knows how much they cost but still wants one anyway.  Money burns a huge hole in his pocket though!  No wonder at least 3/4 of our combined debt from him before we got married!!

thanks! We're thinking of either Finnegan or Tennyson if it's a boy ... and Genevieve or Giselle if it's a girl.

  • Let him get one! Use the BB&B 20% coupon!

  • If my husband offered me a vacuum for christmas I think I would laugh. Cleaning tools are NOT presents.

BUT if you want one... let him go get it:)

  • I LOVE my dyson! sooo worth the money if you can get it
  • I love mine too!  So worth it.  Let him get excited about it first.  And I would love a present like that for Christmas, I'm all about practical gifts!
