Lucy_Plus_One!:
I guess it depends on your doctor and why you are inducing (especially since you aren't past due). Sometimes people go in and get Cervadil put in a couple times and if that doesn't work they make them wait until its necessary to induce with a more extreme method. I would think that is super rare though.. I've only heard of it happening twice.
I would say that, for the most part, you go in to get induced and come out with a baby.
Are you getting induced tomorrow?? Why so soon? (Sorry, you've probably been asked this already)
That's ok.
I have had 7 surgeries in the past for endometriosis and most recently a presecral neurectomy (remove pain receptors at the base of the uterus) and a procedure that was supposed to pull my uterus 'up and back' by shortening/tighening ligaments.. now my uterus is not responding as it should and I have a major buildup of scar tissue reaking havoc on my guts..
So I say induce away (as long as it works)! ![]()

Ahh. I see. I figured there was a reason.
In that case I would feel pretty sure that they are gonna keep you there once they induce you. They have a reason they want to get baby out.
So, you get to go in tomorrow morning?! I'm jealous.
Holy crap! That's early. You should be sleeping (or at least trying).
I will think happy induction thoughts for you!
