So lately my 22 month old has been so clingy. He's always been pretty independent at playing. I try to take time to both get down on the floor and play with him, and step back and encurage him to play alone. I have a 4 month old as well so when I have to put him down to sleep, change his diaper, nurse,etc...Ben will have eto play by himself and he's never seemed to mind. The past few days, he has been super clingy. He wants me to carry him up and down the stairs, he cries when I have to nurse Luke, he wants to come with me when I put Luke down for a nap (which is a disaster because then luke gets really distracted) He is constantly saying, "Mommy play with Ben, Mommy sit with Ben. I hope it's not something I've done and that this is totally just a phase. I am constantly worried about whether I'm sharing time equally with both of my boys but I think I'm doing okay at that...
