Hey everyone,

I plan on breastfeeding.  My question, when will my areolas start spreading?  My nipple area does not look that much different that prepregnancy.  I always thought that my nipples would get bigger and the areolas would spread.  Any knowledge in this area?

    hmmm... mine did get a little larger and a little darker last time. Everyone's different though. So far, this pregnancy, nothing has changed.

    I think it's different for everyone. DH says I look like I have "national geographic" nipples and is actually completely terrified of my boobs. I think it started around 20-ish weeks for me. Maybe a little earlier.

    I haven't noticed that big of a change...it certainly doens't compare to the amount of sagging taking place with my B size boobs (went up to a D while bf'ing) :( The things mothers do for their babies.  My boobs will never be the same.

    Mine have only gotten slightly darker, not bigger at all. ?And I only noticed them getting darker within the last month or so.

    mine just recently started changing...maybe 2-3 weeks ago.  i'm not crazy about them...but...what can you do :-)

    My nipples have gotten pretty large...scary actually.  I haven't noticed much change in the areolas though.  Guess it's different for everyone.

    i just pulled mine out to show him to get his opinion. did you do that too or just ask from his past seeing them?LOL

    So far there is not too much of a differance other than the overall size of my breast. With my last pregnancy I didn't notice a differance in my nipples till I was really close to my due date.

     Every person is differant and every pregnancy is diferant too.
