we had ours on friday. i was convinced that we were having a girl (i just felt it) but we are having a boy and honestly we kind of wanted a boy 1st anyway!

good luck. i hope your dh is able to go with you. it's so amazing.

sad thing; there was a couple there when we signed in. the wife was all stoked to be having a girl and the dad was pissed! he looked like he was going to punch her in the stomache. dude made me mad! most normal people are just excited to get a good healthy response from their u/s.

I am worried this will be DH - he really wants a boy.  I know he wouldn't be "mad" about having a girl, but I know he would be dissappointed!

my husband was really disappointed at the u/s when we first found out it was a girl (he desperately wants a son)...

but he is completely over it now and so super excited.  just give them some time/space and they will be excited!
