We have been approved for fost/adopt!!!!! I just waited and waited to hear the phone ring today and it didnt! I know it will come soon enough but I am so excited!  Keep us in youor thoughts and pray super hard for the phone to ring(and have it be a baby call, duh!!)

i know the feeling all too well. the first placement, we had only been licensed an hour! the second placement was a month wait. and today, we're back on the open home list and i've had the phone right next to me all day long. our agency is desperately trying to find one for us to keep!

here's some practical advice; try to keep yourself busy.  Easier said than done, but do all you can to enjoy the remainder of your child-free days.
