You might need to expand the age range.  DS is almost 2 and is about to get his first haircut.... slow growing hair and curls.

DS was hairy...I cut his hair around 9-10 months for the first time.  He couldn't make it to 12 months.

We just got DS's haircut.  He doesn't have much but had a mullet and it was hanging over his ears.  DD is over 2 and still has not had a haircut.  I have no plans to cut hers for a while still.  I want it to grow more before we trim it.
