DD is sick-help please :)

She has a TON of phlegm in her throat and is coughing all the time. I feel terrible for her. No fever, she vomited once yesterday morning, and then slept until just now (which mom isn't really complaining about) but that concerns me.  I've tried eucalyptus oil a few times, but got nothing. And since the cold is completely in her throat I don't think saline drops would do much good. Any natural ideas for keeping her comfy and helping her heal?

Oh, we also tried to keep her elevated but how do you do that cosleeping? She sleeps between us or on my left, depending on which boob she just ate out of, so I can't really figure out a way to make it work... She won't sleep in her carseat or swing, at least for night sleeping, anyway. During the day those are fine (wierdo!).

My DS has a cough/ cold. We are using a humidifier and Baby vicks (sp?). The nurse told us to have him sleep in his carseat, but he won't. We also cosleep and haven't figured out how to elevate him either.
