(XP) Movie Review : Bolt

We took my 7 year old stepson to see it yesterday.  He said he really liked it but I think Chris and I liked it more than he did.  I'm not sure what age range would appreciate it but for those of you with older kids, it was perfect.  Plus, we have a dog and Conner was able to laugh at the things Bolt did that our dog does.

Warning:  It has a happy ending (it's Disney!) but there are some sad parts.  Chris and I both had tears on our cheeks.  Maybe we're softies and we were thinking about our pup but it was really touching.  Conner said, "It was sad in some parts" but it didn't seem to take away from his enjoyment.

Highly recommended, especially if you like dogs.

    Aw we took the kids to see it yesterday morning too! We all loved it - but you are right - there are definitely some sad parts..... had to hold my 4 year old tight and tell him it would be ok a bunch towards the end..

    Rhino was my favorite :) we have a hamster named Beef :)
