There's a model casting call extrememly close to where we are and I am considering taking my boys to try it out. I've always thought about it, but didn't want to have to drag them to NYC...
I'm not looking into turning my boys into the next Olsen twins..but just to make a little side money (if that's even possible).
Has anyone done this? What was your experience like?
Thanks!
Re: NMR: modeling/acting
When I first graduated college I worked as a production assistant (glorified gopher) on commerical shoots. Basically you'd bring in your kids, they might take some still photos or video. If hired they can only work so many hours a day because they are a certain age. They get a flat fee depending on what it is for. My friend's little 3 year old boy just did an ad for Hasbro. He worked a few hours and got $300 which they put into his bank account. You shouldn't need to pay for anything and you should also be allowed to stay with your kids the entire time.
