Meijer's always look shady - but that one in particular is really safe.  There's no crime in Carmel, I promise.

Hee hee.  That's what I figured.  And they have cheap gas, and it is right there, so I'm sure I'll be in there.  I normally hit the Kroger after dropping DD off at MDO, but I can see having to run across the street sometime this week for an extra stick of butter or a spice I forgot to buy.

If you want shady you should just head south on Meridian to get to 86th.  There's a Kroger down there that is downright scary.  Although I go there occasionally because the Trader Joe's is right there too.  The high school that is down there (it's private - Brebeuf) had some car breakins a few weeks ago.  But that's Indianapolis.

I usually do my grocery shopping at the Super Target/Trader Joe's because they are closest to us.  The Kroger closest to us is shady business - I used to go to one up at 146th b/c it was near my OBs office and it was nice/brand new.  But it's kinda far if I'm not up that way.

oooh yeah, i've been to that kroger.  I went to TJ's to stock up on wine and ran in there.  Little bit of a diffence once you hit the circle!
