Hate missing DD's pedi appt.

DD has her 2 yr. appt. Weds. H is off this week with her, so he's going to take her... I was hoping I could slip out for the appt (it's about 2 mins. away) but realized I have a meeting, and since I just started this job 3 weeks ago, I don't want to rock the boat.

Ugh. H is perfectly capable, I just like to go to her appts. to talk about things. This is a big one - we'll talk about introducing food allergens (she had a lot of allergies as an infant) and also want to talk about this weird thing she started last week where she's almost catching her breath.

It's so hard.

I hear ya and I am sorry.  I am going to miss my twins' 4 month appt w/ shots in a few weeks.  DH is taking them b/c I can't take off the time.  You are not alone!  :-(

I can totally relate. I'm at a new job, so DH is taking DD to her 18 month appt. this week. I really didn't want to miss any appts, but what can you do? I guess we just have to know its great the we have such involved DHs who are totally capable of doing stuff like this - I know my dad never took me to the pedi!
