What did your babies wear in hospital?

While you were in the hospital what did your babies wear? Did you bring onesies for them? Outfits? Did the hospital put them in something? This is probably a silly question, oh well.

Oh and did you bring your own PJ's/Comfy clothes while in the hospital or did you just wear their gowns?

The hospital supplies everything you need for while they are in there.  DDs wore tshirts and were swaddled - all hospital garb. We had plenty of our own but didn't want to worry about losing items in the hospital so just used what's there. It's a lot easier! Plenty of time to dress them cute later - don't waste your time thinking about it now.

 as for me, i just wore the hospital gown - it's easiest for you and the doctors & nurses and they are comfy.  But one thing i'd note ist that because i was going back and forth to the nicu to visit them, it was nice that i had a robe and a shawl and some nicer things to cover up with.

Thanks, I figured the hospital would provide something for the babies while there since it wasnt on the list of things to pack they gave me, but I wanted to make sure.

I did bring my own pjs.... their gowns got old quick.  For the babies I did bring in clothes but they were there for 3 weeks... for the first week they were only in their diapers in their incubators.  The hospital does have t-shirts and gowns for them, which were fine.  Clothing was one of the few things that I had control over while they were in the NICU so I took advantage of it.

My girls were in the hospital t-shirts and swaddled the whole time.  I did bring a couple onesies for going home but kept them in the hospital t-shirts while we were there.  It was much easier since the nurses and doctors had to do a bunch of stuff with the girls too.

I brought some pj's but ended up having my MIL bring me up some of my DH's pj's because my stuff didn't fit after delivery.  I swelled up so much his stuff was a little snug on my legs.  I just got tired of wearing the hospital gowns.

for the first few days, they wore hospital garb. but after that, the NICU said i could bring some clothes for them. i doubt your girls will be in the NICU very long, if at all, so i think you can just rely on the hospital stuff!

the babies wore the hospital shirts and swaddled. We did bring in peemie diapers for them, because hospital provided size 1 and they were swimming in those.

I was very happy to wear non-hospital stuff because i have been in the hospital for too long and the real clothes were my only connection to the outside world.
