Today at our Turkey Day my Aunt said to me (referring to our miscarriage) "Well that's ok, it would have been too soon after your wedding." Really? Because It is NOT ok!

And now I am unpacking our christmas things and I'm missing my christmas tree branches! WTF did they go?!

i don't know your aunt, but she could have been meaning like "at least this will give you and your new husband more time to connect with out the screams of a baby" type idea, but didn't get that accross. i'm sorry she said that to you so harshly

I just looked at her like are you an idiot? She didn't say anything to me for the rest of the day, and the dish she brought was disgusting and we made fun of her after she left. (She is my step aunt married to my uncle, my grams isn't a fan.)

I know that's childish but it made me feel better.

Now where did I put those branches, looks like the DH and I will be heading to Wally world for a new tree.

i hope you didn't think what i said was biitchy or siding with her. i was just trying to think of it on a positive note. lord knows old people have no filter. it was SO not okay to say but hopfully she didn't say it like she meant it.

 

but i'm glad you felt better by the end.
