How many glasses in a typical bottle of wine?

For me, it is usually only 2. But how many are there supposed to be? 4 3oz glasses or 3 4 oz glasses?

I am trying to figure out how many calories in a normal sized glass of white wine.

Not enough   I think the rule is about 4 glasses per bottle.

How many glasses of wine can I expect to serve from a bottle?

The rule of thumb is FIVE glasses per bottle (but this does depend on the size of your wine glasses).  Standard wine glasses hold about a 4- to 6-ounce serving. 

A standard 750 ml wine bottle = 25.4 oz
