So, if it hasn't charged my 'cc yet, can I find a way to make sure my 'cc will not allow the payment to go through?

  • Call the customer service number on your cc and tell them to not allow the charge b/c you canceled it.  That should do the trick.

  • Hmm...well, did they send you anything in your order confirmation email that said something to the effect that "credit card transactions will show up under the name company abc?"

    If that's the case, you can tell them to refuse charges to anything that comes in for that company. If they didn't provide that information, you can probably tell them to refuse the dollar amont charge. For example, if the total transaction cost was $100.82, tell them they should be received a charge for $100.82, and you'd like to refuse payment.
