This morning I had a brown discharge. Called the doctor and he said I could have an ultrasound if I wanted. Well I just woke up from a nap and now it is dark red and heavier with slight cramping. I guess we are going to the ER. Can they tell if you are miscarrying just by an ultrasound?

they should be able to give you some insight into what's going on from an  u/s.  good luck!!

Scary.  You'll be able to see if the baby has a heartbeat or not.
