Aw... I was so excited for my photobook
I set it up, did everything right, credit card went through. Now they've cancelled it due to an error in their system and are unable to get some of the photos I uploaded. So they've refunded my credit card and closed the book off.
Think I should make a fuss? It was free but... I did it all correctly, it's not my fault their system can't handle what they put out there (to OPRAH of all people).
Plus, when I tried to return horrible prints to them a year ago they ignored my 3 requests and it was never resolved
I kinda already feel snubbed.
Re: NBR: Wow.. Snapfish screwed me.
This is why I'm not a fan of Snapfish. I'm a Shutterfly girl 100%!
I'm absolutely a shutterfly girl too, but figured a free photobook was too good to pass up! I had to re-upload all of the pictures I'd been putting on Shutterfly for the past 3 months (selectively of course, for the book) on Snapfish and had to create the book *twice* due to another error they had the first time I submitted it.
Originally they said it'd take 3-5 weeks to deliver, which is no big deal, but today they just cancelled it outright and said "Due to a technical issue in our system, we are temporarily unable to access some of your photos and can not fulfill your order at this time. We have cancelled this order. Please allow 3-5 business days to process your refund.".
I think I will be at the very least appealing to them to do the fair thing and at least give me the same offer so I can resubmit the book (with a deadline if they must!).
same thing happened to me. I wrote and email to customer service and they gave me the book credit. Worth complaining a little.
Snapfish tried charging me for the full price. I emailed and complained and said I wanted my money back. It was credited within 3 days, and I have already received my book. I ordered it late last Thursday and had it in my mailbox on Wednesday. That was nice, but not worth all the time I had to spend emailing to get my money back when it shouldn't have happened in the first place! I think I will stick with Shutterfly now too.
